We are approaching the end of October and inevitably, the end of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Without any doubt, we all agree this shall not be remembered only for a month, but a lifetime.

So, what are all the foundations, charities, celebrities, and social media channels actually trying to tell us? Why are we all go pink for a month?

I was indeed surprised when I learnednearly 2,300 men are diagnosed by breast cancer for 2015 only in US. Alongside, about 440 men are threatened by the death. However, comparing to women, breast cancer is about 100 times less common among men. Following the statistics, 2/3 women with invasive cancer are diagnosed after age 55.

Still, it is not something to dismiss and delay. All those campaigns are actually trying to emphasize one thing: Check your Breasts! This one important piece of information is trying to teach to be cautious. However, sadly today, apart from the ones who seek awareness, companies have started to “use” the matter.

Anybody can put a pink ribbon on anything, and they actually do. I have seen pink ribbon even on alcohol. People just name it then put a pink ribbon on it.

Many breast-health advocates agree that the efforts tied to National Breast Cancer Awareness Month are often misguided and could even be causing a variety of problems.

We have been working on to create something new and worth wile. Donation is fundamental, involving in the Pink Ribbonwalks is essential but what to create more?

As Moeva, we added a new option online whichisprovidingmastectomyswimwear, collaborating with the industry leader; Amoena, we have produced the same Moeva products, but customized with abreastform for women who have the need.

The feedback wasgreat, and happily, we are ready to donate!

Thanks to everyone who supported the Campaign and we are glad to hear that 2 out of 3 women realized the importance of precaution.

Hope you are having a healthy pinky day!
